About the research trial

Eating Disorders remain significantly underdiagnosed and undertreated, with only one in four individuals with an eating disorder seeking help. Denial of illness (i.e., belief that problems are not serious enough to warrant treatment) is one of the most salient barriers to help-seeking. Our research aims to advance the theoretical and clinical understanding of denial of illness in eating disorders with a view to developing and testing a measure of denial and improve the rates of help seeking by young adults with eating disorders. To build this understanding, we are conducting online interviews with people aged 18-25 with previous lived experience of an eating disorder.

Recruitment details

We are seeking young adults aged 18-25 with past experience of an eating disorder to complete a 60-minute online interview. You will be reimbursed with a $40 voucher for your time.
